Educational Planning

We must consider our life as a journey and it is totally up to us how we can make it a beautiful and memorable, one. Career and education planning is the same. Some people have a very clear goal for their future while some feel confused and uncertain about their careers/Educational Path. We have a team of expert/Qualified career advisers/Career Counselors to help you and guide you about your career and educational Goals/Career Path.

Educational counseling aims to guide individuals, especially students, to find the right direction to accomplish their goals. Providing career and educational counseling at the transitioning stage helps the students the best as it gives the students a clear idea of the educational options and paths they may have. It helps them to make a proper map/plan for the educational or career transition they may be going through may it be from school to college or from college to university, and from one job/organization to another.

Steps of education planning:

Educational planning may be done keeping in view the following steps;

  1. Self-awareness: Being self-aware is the first step in taking any decision in life. Once you are aware of your interests, skills, potential, and abilities you can easily know what is best for you. Self-awareness is the key to being good at making the right decisions about your life. It also includes being aware of your self-worth. Self-worth is the result of what you have invested in grooming and preparing yourself for the world of work. A career counselor/adviser helps you to become self-aware by administrating different tests and doing different activities.
  2. Finding your Passion: Once you are self-aware it is easier to find your passion. Passion may lead to your profession. Passion can be anything that you are good at. But having a clear passion in life is really necessary as it also plays a big role in your professional life. It’s difficult to commit to a job if you are not passionate enough about the work you are doing. A career counselor/adviser can help you find your passion by making you do different activities that may help you prioritize your hobbies and interests.
  3. Studying the Career clusters: Career clusters are a sort of activity that can help you know about your career options. A career counselor/adviser helps you in finding the right career cluster/clusters for you. A career cluster gives you diverse career options based on your areas of interest and skills. It is a way to figure out the fields that may be the best option for choosing a profession/career.
  4. Map making: Once you are self-aware, you have found your passion, and are aware of your career cluster, it’s the perfect time to map out your future action plan. Making a future plan helps you to line out the next steps to take to reach your goal.
